years have passed since Eleanor's death at Harby ended a marriage regarded
as 'a perfect example of conjugal love'. For 3 years masons worked on
the 12 memorial crosses which marked her cortège
route from Lincoln to Westminster Abbey.
This book both celebrates Eleanor's life and recreates the winter journey
of her cortège.
