Frank Schofield has taken an intense interest in The Falkland Islands since Argentine scrap dealers first hoisted their country's flag on South Georgia in 1982. "The Falklands Watcher" details the build up of problems with Argentina and the subsequent war from the standpoint of a UK observer. The text is illustrated with the author's personal photographs of returning troops and ships, and of battle sites and memorials in the aftermath of the conflict.
