The Birmingham Scrapbook, Volume 1, is author Alton Douglas's latest pictorial book. In it Alton takes a nostalgic look at the events of the last hundred years, highlighting the impact on Birmingham of such national happenings as two world wars but also featuring the daily life and changing living conditions of the city's people.
