Rob
Blakeman is the U.K.s premier personal trainer and fitness
authority. He has gained this reputation as a result of his no-nonsense
approach to developing peoples physiques and athletic abilities
to their maximum potential. His unique skills were recognised
in the early 1990s by the Golds Gym Fitness Academy
when he was made their Bodybuilding and Home fitness advisor.
The most versatile trainer in the business, Rob has acted as consultant
and nutritional advisor to womens figure fitness competitors
and Beauty Queens, Professional Bodybuilding and Strongmen champions
as well as to more well known public figures such as World boxing
champions; Ricky Hatton, Nigel Benn and Richie Woodhall along
with celebrities such as BBCs Nick Owen and Julie Mayer
and members of Hard Rock Group, Black Sabbath.
Former
Bodybuilding Champion Rob is slimming and sports nutrition advisor
to Health food giant Holland & Barrett where his Slim
to Win range of slimming and nutrition products are sold
throughout their U.K. stores. He also undertakes new Holland &
Barrett store openings and promotions.
He is the Director of Body Zone, a small chain of personal training
centres in the West Midlands where he and his highly trained staff
consistently produce outstanding results in fitness and, where
appropriate, weight-loss for clients from members of the public.
Robs unique and scientific methods have enabled The Body
Zone Company to obtain an education status in classification.
A highly regarded figure in the world of health, nutrition and
the design of fitness programmes, Rob is a frequent guest on radio
and TV programmes. A prolific writer for more than ten years he
has written for almost every top fitness magazine and newspaper
from International Fitness magazines to The Times.
He has written and produced 3 workout videos and last year travelled
to California, USA to film an infomercial to promote his products
on the Shop America television shopping channel.
In 2004 Rob became more determined to reach the public with information
he felt was being held back from them. He launched his own Health
and Slimming magazine with a circulation of 30,000 being distributed
throughout the Midlands area. This was to break free from restrictions
he felt placed on his work by freelancing for other journals alone.
A staunch fitness advocate, Rob is dedicated to the fight against
obesity and poor health in children. He his currently engaged
in a tour of personal seminars for schools to encourage children
to eat healthily and exercise. He also works extensively for a
disabled kids charity with varying promotions such as public strongman
exhibitions. In April 2004 he pulled a fully laden ten tonne fire
engine across Birminghams Centenary Square to raise thousands
of pounds for a disabled childrens charity.
With a view to spreading his message about how obesity and other
21st Century health problems can be beaten, Rob is now launching
his new book, PASSION FOR CHANGE. The foreword is by Ko Chohan,
author of the best selling Carol Vorderman Detox Books and testimonials
from other stars are included.
This is the definitive health book for the New Year. Written by
an individual who truly walks the talk and has already helped
thousands to do the same, Passion for Change is a comprehensive,
truly effective, multi-faceted and holistic guide that will empower
readers to make permanent changes in their lives and achieve dramatic
improvements in their health and well being.
