St.
Pauls School for Girls in Edgbaston, Birmingham celebrates it centenary
in 2008.
Jean Simpson, a former teacher at the school and now a Governor, has researched
the history of the school and has now written a commemorative book describing
the school through the years at work and play.
Chapters describe the effect of two world wars upon the school, its spiritual
experience and its academic and sporting achievements. Personalities who
have shaped the school are also featured.
The narrative concludes with a look into the future and the schools
plans for an ambitious building programme on a new site adjoining Rotton
Park Reservoir in Edgbaston. |
